Referral Scheme Terms and Conditions

Terms and conditions of the QMU International Student Referral Scheme

1. To refer a student, you must either be a graduate of Â鶹ԭ´´ or be actively studying a an undergraduate or postgraduate degree course with the University and be a national or resident of a country outside the UK and Republic of Ireland.
2. To be referred, you must by an international fee-paying student and a national or resident of a country outside the UK and the Republic of Ireland.
3. The scheme only applies to students who are referred to, and go on to study at, our Edinburgh campus. The scheme does not apply to courses delivered entirely online. 
4. Â鶹ԭ´´ is not liable to make a payment in the event that a prospective student is not offered a place on the course, chooses not to accept the offer, does not start the course or is withdrawn from the course due to non-participation, or does not complete the first 10 weeks of the course for any reason.
5. Retrospective claims for students already on the relevant course do not qualify.
6. Payment goes to the person making the referral, not the prospective student, 10 weeks after the referred student has matriculated.
7. Â鶹ԭ´´ reserves the right to amend or withdraw this alumni referral scheme at any time.
8. The referral scheme does not apply in situations where the prospective student has already applied to study with Â鶹ԭ´´ in the last two years, or has already studied with Â鶹ԭ´´ regardless of the length of time of previous study.
9. The referral scheme does not apply in situations where the course fee for the prospective student is less than £4000.
10. Referred students must apply and enrol on a programme of study at Â鶹ԭ´´ within 12 months of being referred.
